THE curse of technology spawned “BlackBerry thumb” when users of the phones complained of muscle pain in their hands from constant twiddling.
But now doctors say they are treating iPad and iPhone owners for similar repetitive strain injury (RSI) problems.
Users have complained of an ache – it’s been dubbed “iPad hand” – after operating the revolutionary tablets for too long. Medics are also treating people for arm and neck problems associated with resting the iPad on their knees.
But not only iPads and iPhones are sending users to the doctor.
Hi-tech gadgets are leaving us with injuries, some of which can be extremely debilitating.
