Mrs Adenike who is based in Lagos is said to have died in a hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun State from complications arising from childbirth.
She gave birth early Tuesday morning, fell into a coma (she actually never came out of the anesthesia given her) and died Wednesday afternoon.
Close family sources reveal that she had the baby through a cesarean section, after which complications arose.
Her baby is fine and healthy.
Nike was only 32 and survived is by a husband and new born baby girl. May her soul rest in peace. Amen.
