1D took home the award for Best British Video for their smash hit "Best Song Ever" and were also honoured with the Global Success award at the Brit Awards on Tuesday evening making them the second biggest winners of the night after The Arctic Monkeys!
Ever the jokester, Harry Styles rushed onstage halfway through the group's acceptance speech, and breathlessly explained into the microphone, "I'm really sorry, I was having a wee!"
Other highlights from the award night included Lorde & Bruno Mars winning the "Best International Male" and "Best International Female" awards respectively and Queen Bey performing her smash hit "XO" for the first time ever. She dedicated the song to all of her fans and shouted out "I love you!" before launching into a flawless rendition of the love ballad.
Other big winners for the night included David Bowie (Best British Male Solo Artist) and Daft Punk (Best International Group).
