Dried spirulina contains about 60% (51–71%) protein. It is a complete protein containing all essential amino acids, though with reduced amounts of methionine, cysteine and lysine when compared to the proteins of meat, eggs and milk. It is, however, superior to typical plant protein, such as that from legumes.[2][7]
The U.S. National Library of Medicine said that spirulina was no
better than milk or meat as a protein source, and was approximately 30
times more expensive per gram

Yes, be sure to research it as it is a neurotoxin. Research presented on Medscape reveals that it is actually a blue-green algae (its common name). But it is not a true algae but cyanobacteria - a bacteria that seems to be involved in neurotoxic ability to cause neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson and Alzheimer and ALS. It is not proven, but I would not chance it.

Can Cyanobacteria Contribute to Neurodegenerative Disease? Wendee Holtcamp Environ Health Perspect. 2012;120(3):a110-a116.
"major breakthroughs in the fields of neurobiology, epidemiology, and ecology have led to an increased interest in an unlikely hypothesis: that !-methylamino-L-alanine (BMAA)—a cyanobacterial neurotoxin found in contaminated seafood and shellfish, drinking water supplies, and recreational waters—may be a major factor in these diseases (ie: leading to major clues in understanding Lou Gehrig's disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS) and possibly other neurodegenerative diseases.)."

What is Spriulina! Looks like something (pill?) to purchase...
If so, not a good way to promote. Sly marketing is a huge turn off for me. Do love simple clear visuals but would NOT TRUST this product or company if its a pill snuck in!
Going to do my research! Best!
