A teen girl was arrested on charges of making terroristic threats after writing in her notebook that she wants to be the first female mass killer, police in Pennsylvania said.
The Radnor Police Department said that they arrested the 17-year-old student of Radnor High School on Monday, after school officials found a detailed plan to murder her classmates and teacher.
The girl wrote that she wanted to be the first mass female murderer, and specifically described how she would kill several students and one of her teachers.
She also wrote about how much she admired Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the students behind the mass killings at Columbine High School.
Administrators at the school found the girl’s notebook and immediately called the police. The girl will be charged as a juvenile for making terroristic threats.
According to investigators, the girl has a history of mental illness, and her parents are cooperating with police. Police said that the girl had no weapons in her possession.
The suspect is currently under psychiatric evaluation.
