Now let’s take a closer look at the installation process. There are two possible ways of accomplishing a WordPress installation:

First:

Make sure that your web host have minimum requirements to run WordPress (those are PHP version 5.2.4 or greater, MySQL version 5.0 or greater.)
Download the latest version of WordPress.
Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your hard drive.
Be prepared with a secure password for your Secret Key.

Second:

With Inmotion hosting you can skip steps mentioned above. After you have registered and logged in, go to AMP panel and find an icon “Install Popular Software”.

Click “Install WordPress”.

After that, fill in all forms to set up WordPress and click “Install”.

When installation is done, your website’s address will be displayed.

So if you want to play with a free theme, you can find quite a lot of them on the web, just Google “free WordPress theme” or check our collection here. As for the premium ones, this is where the competition starts. Every template provider tries to create the coolest and the most feature-rich product; for some it develops into absurdity, others try to stick to their conventional views and features that they find necessary to implement.

Template Installation

Ok, your WordPress engine is up and running, and now it’s time to install the theme. We’ll show you how to do it using an example from our free WordPress themes.

    Go to Free Website Templates on TM
    When the gallery opens in the drop-down “Type” choose WordPress

    Press “Download” button

    You will be redirected to another page where you also need to click “Download Template” download WP theme

    Check “I’m a new customer” field and press “Continue as a Guest”download WP theme step 6
    Fill in the form and click “Download Sample“. After that you’ll get an email suggesting you to confirm registration.Download WP Theme
    You will be redirected to the account page where you can find your template.

    Unzip the files in a separate folder
    Go to your WordPress admin panel and open “Appearance” > “Themes“
    On the page “Themes“ press “Add New “

    Press “Choose file” button and find the archive “CherryFramework” and press “Upload“
    When the uploading is complete repeat the procedure but choose the next archive “theme 3077“
    Go to Cherry Plugin and choose “Import Content”

    Upload all files from Manual Install and Sample Data folders and press “Continue Install”. FYI these files are needed to make this template look the way it did on the live demo.Install WP Theme

    Go to WordPress and open “Appearance” > “Themes”, find your template and press “Activate”Activate WP Theme
