Hillary Clinton will not apologize to Donald Trump for saying that his comments disparaging Muslims were being used in ISIS videos to recruit terrorists.

"Hell no. Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists," Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon said Monday afternoon.

Earlier Monday, Trump demanded that Clinton apologize to him for her comment.

"I will demand an apology from Hillary," Trump said Monday on NBC's "The Today Show." "I will demand an apology from Hillary, she should apologize. She lies about emails, she lies about Whitewater, she lies about everything. She will be a disaster as President of the United States."

Clinton made the claim during Saturday night's Democratic debate, but a spokeswoman later said they did not have a specific video of ISIS using clips of Trump disparaging Muslims, but instead pointed to social media comments from ISIS recruiters. CNN's Reality Check Team also found there was nothing to support Clinton's claim of an ISIS video showing Trump.

The exchange even drew Jeb Bush to Trump's side for one, fleeting moment Monday.

"Hillary Clinton suggesting that Donald Trump is being used in an ISIS recruiting video, man, talk about chutzpah," Bush told conservative radio host Bill Bennett Monday.

Trump said Monday that "she always lies," but he defended himself when NBC's Matt Lauer asked him if he was holding her to a double standard because he could not prove his claim that thousands of Muslims celebrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New Jersey after the Twin Towers fell.

"I've been totally exonerated from that, I've had headlines exonerating me and saying 'Trump was right,'" Trump said.
