 After spending a month in a Texas hospital, three identical baby girls are heading home. Addison, Savanah, and Kinsley Harris were born 10 weeks premature on December 1, with each baby weighing between three- and three-and-a-half pounds. Identical triplets are extremely rare — doctors say the incidence is “one in a million” — and are conceived in much the same way as identical twins: a single egg is fertilized and then splits up into multiple, identical embryos. Brad Harris, the triplets’ father, said that he and his wife are “prepared” to have the babies at home, “just way outnumbered now.”
