Shocking CCTV footage released today shows the sickening moment a vicious thug knocks a passer-by out with a single punch - before kicking him twice in the head.

The man is captured on video running up to the victim, who is in his late 20s, and then striking him on the back of his head with his right fist.

The victim was taken to a north London hospital for treatment and police have released the horrific footage in a bid to track down the suspect in the video.

Detectives from Barnet Borough investigating an assault outside a post office have issued CCTV footage of a man they wish to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.
The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday, February 21, and police received a call at around 1.30am to a report of the assault.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'On Sunday, 21 February, police were called at around 01:30hrs to a report of an assault outside the Sudbury Hill Post Office on Greenford Road in Harrow.

'The victim, who is in his late 20s, sustained a broken nose and left arm.

Once the helpless victim is on the floor, the man takes two full swings at him using his left foot and then his right foot - leaving him with a broken nose and left arm

The suspect then turns around and jogs off casually, leaving his victim lying unconscious on the pavement

CCTV cameras captured the moment the suspect approached the victim, who was walking along the opposite side of the road.

'The suspect crossed the street, approached the victim from behind, hit him over the back of the head and then kicked him in the head rendering him unconscious.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged in his early 20s, of large build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a hooded jacket, light blue jeans and white trainers.'
