They don’t call him Baba Nla for nothing!
Wizkid has done Nigeria proud at another international award ceremony. This time, it’s the Billboard Music Awards which held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States on Sunday, 21 May.
Nominated for seven awards, the Starboy records CEO won in the categories of Top Streaming Song, Top R&B Song and Top R&B Collaboration all thanks to his collaboration with Drake on the song One Dance.
Wizkid’s win is also the first for any Nigerian musician at the Billboard Music Awards. All this just points to the fact that more and more people are paying attention to Nigerian music.
