Team Praise 8 – The Revival: A Global Sound of Worship and Unity

The atmosphere was electric and hearts were lifted as believers from all walks of life gathered for an unforgettable evening of worship at the Team Praise concert. From the moment the first note rang out, it was clear that this was more than just a concert. It was a powerful encounter with God.

Hosted at Stadplus Events Center, Surulere, Lagos, the event drew a large and vibrant crowd, all united in a single purpose to lift up the name of Jesus through music, praise and heartfelt worship featuring a lineup of anointed worship leaders and gospel ministers including the renowned Efe Nathan. The night was filled with soul-steering ministrations and moments of deed spiritual connection. This is the resume of the maiden edition of Team Praise.

In a world yearning for hope, healing, and harmony, a powerful movement is rising—one that transcends denominational lines and geographical borders to unite believers in one voice of worship, Team Praise soon became the household name particularly around the Surulere Cosmopolitan Area, following subsequent editions that garnered crowd and welcomed more top guest ministers. Since its inception, Team Praise has remained a spirit-led gathering that ignites hearts, inspires communities, and fosters a deeper encounter with God through music, testimonies, and worship, with each edition having a unique theme, this year is the 8th, with the team, “The Revival” which has been proposed to be an outdoor event for the first time since inception.

THE MANDATE

Team Praise is an annual, inter-denominational global praise concert powered by His Multiplication Christian Center (HMCC). It was born from a divine mandate: to bring together Christian denominations as a TEAM under one spiritual umbrella with a single mission—to offer passionate PRAISE to God and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, hence, the name TEAM PRAISE. This was the mandate given by the Lord to Pastor Chukwuemeka Daniel; the lead pastor and founder of His Multiplication Christian Centre (HMCC).

THE VISION

Our vision is to create a platform where hearts are lifted, souls are won, and the name of Jesus is glorified." Now in its eighth edition, Team Praise 8 – The Revival builds upon the spiritual momentum and success of seven glorious editions before now, each of which has left lasting impact on thousands of lives around the world.

The eighth edition of this extraordinary gathering—Team Praise 8: The Revival—will take place on August 1st, 2025, at the iconic Mobolaji Johnson Arena (formerly Onikan Stadium) in Lagos, Nigeria. This year’s theme, The Revival, reflects the urgent spiritual call to awaken hearts and stir a renewed passion for God across nations. More than a concert, this is a divine encounter and prophetic moment in time.

 

The 500-Voice Global Mass Choir

A major highlight of Team Praise 8 is the formation of a 500-member Global Mass Choir. Auditions for this landmark choir are currently taking place across Lagos, open to passionate, spirit-filled singers who sense a call to ministry through music, but this is no ordinary choir experience. Selected participants will undergo a comprehensive and life-transforming training program designed to shape their spiritual, personal, and ministerial journeys.

 

The Choir Training Program Includes:

1. Spiritual Empowerment – Deep Bible teaching sessions to revive their faith and strengthen their walk with God.

2. Vocal Mastery & Stage Presence – Professional training led by renowned coaches to enhance their delivery and confidence.

3. Personal Branding for Ministry – Guidance in defining their unique voice and purpose in gospel ministry.

4. Social Media Training – Equipping them to effectively use digital platforms to spread the gospel.

5. Wisdom & Mentorship Sessions – Encounters with experienced ministers sharing spiritual insights and life lessons.

6. Balancing Ministry & Career – Tools and strategies to help them thrive in both calling and career.

The Team Praise 8 Mass Choir will be mentored and judged by an outstanding lineup of gospel greats and industry professionals:

Uncle Ben – Legendary vocal coach and gospel icon with decades of experience in mentoring top gospel talents.

Iyke Michael – Acclaimed actor and music director bringing creative depth and spiritual fire.

Naomi Mac – A-list gospel singer whose powerful voice and anointing have captivated audiences nationwide. 

Pastor Muyiwa Israel – Renowned choir director and worship leader known for his deep spiritual insight and prophetic sound.

These mentors will shape and sharpen the voices that will rise to declare God's glory at Team Praise 8.
