Mbaise Youth & Young Adults Goals And Activities

AIM 
As children of immigrants of this country, our sole aim is to explore this land using our potentials to benefit ourselves and our families, getting the best education we can afford and at the same time giving back to our community, to preserve and enhance our cultural heritage through youth development..Many of us parents weren't prepared for the challenges that come with managing dual cultures;.hence it became very important that we, the youth and young adults use this opportunity to open up a system of interactive communication with our parents and our fellow youths both here and at home..The idea is to embrace and inculcate our rich cultural heritage into our daily activities even in this foreign land, Mbaise youths and young adults are the future and the hope for the continuity of Mbaise Nation..The youths are the only avenue to hold and foster continuity of our Mbaise Nation’s tradition and culture in general..

ACTIVITES:
We will learn a lot about our culture, traditions and customs and at the same time, have fun together..Some of the these activities are , Isu asusu Igbo, Igoo Orji, Iru Mgbede, Iwa Akwa, Iboo uzo, Ilu Nwanyi, Ntozu Oke, Igba ngba, ijike njike ka onye Mbaise, Imuta otu esi agba egwu anyi dika, Agbigbo na Ogbongelenge..We also have Q/A session between the parents and the youths and debate on different topics..To learn about Mbaise heritage as it provides testimonies to and links between our past and the present of all our communities..The youth will biannualy elect their own executive, appoint their own coordinators and run their own cultural programs to the benefit of all the youths in diaspora for the purpose of preserving and maintaining our cultural heritage.
